The ARTS postgraduate study program is designed as a multi-disciplinary approach to expand students’ overall background in the basic and applied management of natural resources for agricultural development in (sub) tropical environments. 
Students are trained by experienced international agricultural scientists. They develop a holistic, cross-disciplinary understanding and acquire a systems’ view of structure, use, interactions, endangerment and protection of natural resources. 


The 22-month M. Sc. training involves a balanced program of:
