In Loving Memory of Jake Carampatana

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved classmate and dear friend, Jake Carampatana. Jake was a member of the ARTS program of the University of Bonn (2016), and passed away in a car accident in the Philippines on 12th of August.

Jake was not only an exceptional student, but also an exceptional friend. His radiant spirit brought joy and laughter to the lives of those around him – lighting up every room with his infectious nature and shining personality. Whether through his sense of humor, his captivating stories, or his genuine kindness, Jake had a unique ability to touch the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In memory of Jake and as a token of our appreciation, we are launching a donation campaign to support his grieving family in order to help ease the burden of funeral expenses and other pressing needs during this difficult period.

For this, we are collaborating with the NGO “Weltweit e.V.” who kindly agreed to support this initiative.

If you want to help, you can donate to their account using the subject line “Project JC Philippines”. The deadline of the donation campaign ends on 30th of November 2023.
